Measuring low resistance helps identify resistance elements that have increased above acceptable values. The operation of electrical equipment depends on the controlled flow of curent within the design parameters of the given piece of equipment. Ohm's Law indicates that for a specificed energy source, operating on V ac or V dc, the amount of current drawn will be dependent upon the resistance of the circuit or component. A medium powered primary current injection systems offering output currents up to 5000A (11.5kVA for 40seconds). The system consists of a separate control unit containing all metering and control functions and a loading unit that provides the high current output. The WR14 is the battery powered version winding resistance system with a most advanced demagnetizing circuit. It is designed for high degree of accuracy measurement of very low resistance of any inductive loads. It's a lightweight system with its own rugged waterproof field cases.
